Boomtown RV Park in Verdi

Nice campground, friendly and helpful staff. Full hook ups. Bathrooms could use a little qork, but otherwise nice place. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained.

If you are coming here to gamble and just use your rig for sleeping then this place is fine. If you are really camping and want to explore the area then go somewhere else. Packed together and limited services outside of your own camper. See other reviews. A shuttle to the casino is nice, but the casino takes advantage of being well outside of Reno. It is very pricey in the restaurants, even for just a cup of coffee. We were shocked at the price and service differences between the downtown large casinos and Boomtown.

Not a bad place little expensive. Since wecouldn't get cable or wifi.

Super easy check in and friendly staff. Clean RV park just outside of Reno off of I 80. They have shuttles back and forth to the casino or it's a quick walk if the weather is good. I highly recommend this KOA for year round camping!! Oh the local fall colors were the best in the area!

This KOA has gone down the tubes . Lawn not mowed , bird doo doo all over the BBQ’s . Some of the staff very rude . Do not make you feel welcomed at all .

Great place! I can almost hear the river, right down the hillside. And the pine forest almost singing evening country songs in the breeze.

I will give them credit for clean showers and bathrooms. But the extended stays spots are very trashy and not kept up. The dog runs are NOT kept up. The trash cans where you put the dog waste aren't emptyed in the 10 days we were there. The stench is BAD. And the garbage cans that the dog waste is put in was never changed. The smell is awful. Most of the staff is helpful. But a few ruin it for the rest.

Great place for families and friends to get together and stay to enjoy, the wonderful sites of Northern Nevada. Plus, they have a great staff that is very helpful & knowledgeable.

Great for a night or two while traveling. Store is well kept, bathrooms are nice. Pavement only, felt.like we were camping in a parking lot. Staff friendly

It's a cozy place,were it's not too big and yet there's a lot of enjoyment,staffs are very nice and helpful and also a place for children to have their own fun and the good ole very popular Mel's Place has some good cooking that will satisfy your hunger or craving and last but not least slot machines are generous and the table games are fun.

Just stayed over one night. Was clean you can call for a shuttle to take you to the casino so you can go gamble or eat. Wifi was good.

Bit pricey to stay at but wasn't too bad. The view was gorgeous but outside bathroom showers could use some major cleaning. I was too grossed out to step foot in them at night.

We arrived from Missouri on our way to Etna, California late in the afternoon. We were towing a travel trailer and our truck broke down. Kelsi was at the front desk and was extremely helpful. She was able to extend our stay as we have no idea how long repairs will take. Great customer service....kind and considerate. Thanks for a grear stay!

Great location right outside Reno. The staff was very friendly, the park is clean and well laid out. The WiFi works well for being park wide. There’s even a free shuttle to the casino if that’s what you’re into. Stayed one night, and had no complaints.

They gave us good discounts for veterans. Was happy staying there. People were really friendly. Would stay there again.

We haven't stayed overnight, but they offer a very good price for dump station and are very helpful and friendly. The sites looked clean and nice..I would definitily stay there

Stopped for gas..this place is so cool

Office hrs say 8am, but didn't answer the phone till way after 9am, says they have a playground even when I talked to her on the phone and we got here and all unpacked just to find out the whole playground has been removed. Just a big parking lot with small pieces of grass bigger than a picnic table, and most of it is dead and hasn't been mowed.

Very nice. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't way too expensive for an RV Park.

DON’T COME HERE!Despite the heat, the pool is open only from 11am to 6pm! And you have to wear a mask. Ridiculous! We went to the casino to swim and they closed both of their pools. This is the only KOA I’ve been to that has the male end for hooking up to the cable, and they didn’t have any adapters in the store so we didn’t have cable.

Very nice and very clean. Will stay here again when we come back through.

Oh you mean miss personality at the front desk. I'm a member, but still had a pay $10.00 to dump. Will never camp or dump there again. Nah!

Love this place, & the staff are all friendly & helpful . Dog friendly park, lots of dogs. Only thing I would improve on this place is possibly make another dog run area on the opposite side of the park, with 6 ft fences for larger dogs to run. With so many dogs they need another area for them to run free. That's all !😎❤

It was quite, we had an end spot with a fire pit. Perfect place to park your RV and watch the ballon races
